Crazy 4 Challenges Challenge - C4C357

Good morning,
Am sharing another card for the new Crazy 4 Challenge that went live this morning.
The theme is a :
"Colour wheel mix up... find your favourite 2 colours on the wheel and use the 2 colours on the opposite side of the wheel …. this will challenge you to maybe use colours you would usually shy away from."
My favourite colours are blue and green, so I have used orange and added some brown into the mix.
Here is my card :
I have used some Hobby Art Stamps called 'Orchard' and one of their fabulous sentiments.
The lovely Stamping Caz is hosting the challenge again, please do pop on over to see her card HERE.  Also the other team mates have made some stunning creations using the wheel.  You can visit the main blog HERE.
Thanks for stopping by.  Am catching up with lots of house things today and have some class cards to make, hopefully will spend most of the day crafting.
Have a great weekend!

Hello blogland,
It has been a good few months since my last post and I must apologise if you follow my blog regularly.  Life has taken over, its a simple as that.  I am trying to fit in designing a new blog along with my lovely part time job and DT commitments.  David and the girls come first and foremost in my life and I have really enjoyed spending the summer with them in Berlin and various outings to the beach.  Also, I have just come back from a week away crafting with lots of lovely ladies in Devon. I have now taken a deep breath lol and will try my best to post on a regular basis.
I am really pleased to have been asked by the lovely Stamping Caz to join her as a guest designer on the Crazy for Challenges blog.  Caz is hosting the challenges in October and to start with the first theme is 'Forest Fun'.  I have a little card using the gorgeous Stampendous set - 'Pop Up Forest' which I brought from Crafts U Love.
On my card above, I have used the following products :
Stampendous - 'Pop Up Forest' stamp set
Authentique Paper - ''Observant'
Bazzill card - 'Pinecone'
Bazzill card - 'Safari'

Hobby Art - 'Birthday Wishes' sentiment
White scallop card blank
Black Fineline pen
Sharp scissors and Cosmic Shimmer Glue
Please do join in the challenge and you can visit the blog HERE to see the other design team makes, which are all gorgeous!

Hobby Art Monthly Special Cards

Oh my, its been a while since I blogged.  Life taking over my time as usual. Both Jess and Georgia are home and its so lovely spending quality time with them.
Anyway, thought I would share a couple of cards I made recently using two of the gorgeous monthly specials from Hobby Art.
Firstly, 'Highland Cattle'.  This was the February Monthly Special set. When they popped through the door from postie, the first image I spotted was the huge thistle.  It is just beautiful!  I have coloured in my card using the 'Wink of Stella' pens.
Here is the full card.

I have created a background using the small thistle and grass stamps and edged with Stickles glitter glue.
Secondly, here is my card used on the project sheet for the April Monthly Special using the lovely 'Riverside' set of stamps.  A gorgeous canal barge and countryside scene set which is great to use to make a scene, as I have done below.
Again, coloured in 'Wink of Stella' glorious glitter pens.  Both sets and lots more other goodies can be found HERE on the Hobby Art website.
Ok off to grab a coffee and then have a few cards to get made.
Have a wonderful day,
