A Gorguss Girly Card

Thank crunchy it's Friday! It's been a very long week, so am glad it's Friday and the weekend! David has been away in Dubai, the girls have been in and out all week and I am still feeling poorly since my bug last week.  Am hoping to get some Christmas shopping done and catch up with the housework and Christmas cards.

I have forgotten to share this little 'Gorguss' Girl card with you, which we made at one of my classes recently.  I am going to add some numbers and give it to my daughter's lovely friend who will be 16 next week.  The little image looks so much like her.

On my card I have used, Craft Creation gingham paper, Rose Embossing Folder, Tim Holtz Clock die, SU punch and sentiment and a flower made with a scallop punch and lots of water spray.

Have a fabby weekend, thanks for stopping by and the lovely comments you leave me.

The Magic of Christmas

Good evening, it's challenge time again over at the Little Claire Blog , the theme this month is of course, 'Christmas' and the DT have made some spectactular cards this month!

Here is my offering above, it is made using the gorgeous 'Magic of Christmas' stamp set, which comes with three large images and lots of sentiments.  I especially love the little geese with dotty wellies on, they are so sweet!

I have used some gorgeous Teresa Collins paper on my card, the ribbon is some that was free with a magazine.  The charm is one from Mei Flower and the twine is from Stamping Up.  I have coloured in with Promarkers and added a couple of stones.

Here is the fabby prize that you could win if you enter our Christmas challenge

Little Claire die-cut sheets
Ribbon
Coloured stones
Ribbon Bows

Have just seen that it is already dark here at 4.20pm, so had better go get my little guinea's and rabbits to bed before they catch cold.

Lots on the box this evening, just for a change.  Are you loving 'I'm a Celebrity'? We all are here.  I hope that awful Helen leaves the jungle soon, before things turn nasty and they oust her.  I really hate bullying of any form, but she really is asking for someone in there to tell her her fortune lol! That's the end of my rant lol!

Christmas Polar Hugs

Good morning, brrrrr its another cold one here today, Georgia cannot wait for snow, whereas I definately can lol.  I love to look at it but just want to snuggle up by the radiator when its on the ground.

I thought I would share a Christmas card I made using the gorgeous 'Polar Hugs' from the Christmas stamp range over at Little Claire.  It is similiar to some of the 'Swirly Whirly' designs.

I really love mono colours especially at christmas.  I have added lots of ribbon & lace and three different papers on my stand card.  I have just coloured the little present and holly on the image, finished off with small pearls.

Right, have a class this week so must finish off the projects that we will be making.  Will share them with you later in the week.

Have a great day, whatever you will be doing, thanks for stopping by.

Little Claire Flowerhead Blog Project

Good afternoon, it's my turn to do the blog project over at Little Claire's and I have chosen one of my all time fav stamps to use.  It is called 'Flowerhead' and it can be used as I have shown, paper pieced or stamped and coloured in.  It is a very pretty, versatile little stamp.

My little flowerpot card has been made using lots of scraps from my paper/card bins.  The paper is from a stack available from the website and is called 'Blank Canvas'.  OMG it is so lush, some of the papers are fabric and the colour ranges are just beautiful!

The kraft card is from Craftwork cards and the lace is from Stamping Up.  The punches are from Martha Stewart and nearly forgot the sentiment, is from a little set called 'Dictionary Definitions'.  I have added some brown pearls to the flowers, butterflies and hearts.

If you would like to see the tutorial that I have put together, pop on over to the blog via here .

Have had a manic week and am hoping for a quiet weekend.  Lots of Christmas cards to get done and maybe some shopping.

Have a lovely weekend yourself,

Flowerhead Cards

Good evening, here are a couple of cards that I have made using the gorgeous 'Flowerhead' stamp from Little Claire.  I have used paper-piecing on both cards.

I have used some freebie papers on my first card, some English lace and a 'Dictionary Definition' sentiment stamp.

On my flowerpot card, I have used some papers from a paperpack, some kraft card to make the flowerpot, some 'handmade' ribbon, brown/cream bakers twine and a MS butterfly punch and border punch.

The sentiment inside is from stamping Up as well as the stamped heart.  I will be doing a tutorial on how to make one of these little flowerpot cards on Friday, just whizz on over to the Little Claire blog for more details.

Enjoy the NEC show if you are going, im not but will be ordering lots of crafty goodies on-line to make up for it lol.

Thanks for stopping by,

Christmas Joy

Good Saturday afternoon! Wow those weeks sure do whizz by, November already and I am yet to get organised for Christmas.  I have got myself a little part-time job, which I start next week so I am thinking my Christmas cards and shopping will definately get done last minute this year.  I tend to buy a couple of packs of Christmas cards anyway, mainly for charity.  I always give to The British Heart Foundation and Cancer in memory of my lovely Mum and Dad.

Anyway, Little Claire asked me to design a quick card which could be turned into a take-home pack to make.  This kit is using the gorgeous 'Christmas Joy' stamp and I have teamed it up with some wonderful 'nordic' colours of red gingham paper, red & kraft cardstock.  The ribbon ties in really well and the sentiment is one from another stamp set called 'The Magic of Christmas' and the rosette surrounding it is from 'Georgina's Rosette's' glorious set available on website.

So what do you get in the pack? You get: 'Christmas Joy' ready stamped image (just colour in), the paper and card (red gingham, red bazzill and kraft card) for matting & layering - all pre-cut to size, circular sentiment, rosette, gingham circle - all cut to size, snowflakes, pearls and super, lovely snowflake & heart ribbon mmmmm.....and of course, the blank greetings card & envelope, in this instance it's a blank kraft card.

Not forgetting full colour instructions - so it's everything you need apart from adhesives and, the cost? Just £3.80. or £5.50 for the stamp on it's own.

Ok gardening and housework awaits, its such a lovely sunny day here today, shame to miss some of it.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Little Claire November Club Stamp

Good afternoon, just a quick post from me today.  Here is a card I have made using the newly launched 'Lets Bake' club stamp from Little Claire.  Isn't it gorgeous? I so love the little cat sitting on the stool.  You can purchase it from today from the website.  On my card I have used one of the 'Sunshine' sentiments and a button from 'Georgina's Button & Stitching' stamp sets.  The blue gingham paper is from Craft Creations.

I have coloured in with Promarkers and have added some gorgeous lace which can be also purchased from the Little Claire website.

Off to make tea and then to my craft room, have some cards to make.

Have a lovely evening!
