Happy New Year & Bunnies Galore!

Good morning,

Happy New Year's Eve to you!

It has been a funny old year for me, lots of ups and downs and many life lessons learnt, so I am so looking forward to 2014 with gusto!  I have lots of resolutions to keep to, the main one is to be more organised.  I really don't know where my days go to, I seem to be chasing my self constantly.

Also, I am going to start a diary, to help me remember those things that I keep forgetting and mainly as I will be celebrating my BIG birthday, later this year, I want to remember ever minute of this special year.  I am hoping to visit my lovely cuz in Australia as part of my birthday celebration's and also my beloved Berlin to see my lovely aunt, fingers crossed X

Anyhow, my lovely friend's over at Little Claire are celebrating the new year, by launching a gorgeously cute set of new stamps today.

The first five which are being showcased on the blog today, are only £3.99 each stamp. Trust me, they are worth every penny!

I am sharing two cards to start with, using two of the new 'Bunnies' in the range.

Firstly, 'Tulip Bunny'
(sentiment from another new set to follow)

Secondly, 'Balloon Bunny'
(Sentiment as before)

These cards were coloured in with Promarker', but I was given the whole set of Spectrum Noir's for Christmas, so lots of playing to be done.

Little Claire are offering you the chance to win the stamps in their little competition.  All you have to do to enter is, just leave Gill a comment on the blog HERE, and let her know which is your favourite of the five images.  The competition runs until Monday, 6th January 2014, so pop on over now to enter.

Ok, off to raid Sainsbury's as we are having a small party here this evening.

Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and Happy 2014 to all my lovely loyal blogging friends.

Thank you so much for all of the support and lovely comments you have left me in 2013.

huge hugs

Heidi

My Crafty Year

Hello blogging friends,

I do hope you are enjoying this festive period and are not affected by the awful floods and power cuts. We have been very lucky here in Sussex, we lost a fence panel and our garden was a bit flooded, but that is all.

Lots of blogging peeps are sharing their twelve favourite makes of 2013, so I thought I would join in the fun and share mine.

Grab a cuppa and take a browse through my post.  I have tried to choose a diverse selection of makes, I do hope you like my choices, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Firstly, January 2013

A little card using the Little Claire image 'Best Friend', I love this image and its beautiful little sentiment.

February 2013

A little lantern using Little Claire's - 'Butterfly Blossom, an image I have used over and over, just love it!

March 2013

A tunnel card using Little Claire'Your So Tweet' set in lilac & white's, so right for Spring!

April 2013

Little Claire - 'Poppies' in peach tones for this card, along with lots of lace and a couple of pretty flowery buttons.

 May 2013

I altered a little bag using the Little Claire - 'Elephant Squares'. I have used a rosette & sentiment from another set and lots of white lace and lilac pearls.

June 2013

A little post-it note holder using Little Claire - 'Pincushion Birdy' image and some small sticky buttons.

July 2013

My love of kraft card started this month, using Little Claire - 'Bird Line', one of my all time favourite stamps.  I love the little metal butterfly & peg I have used on this card.

August 2013

A Prima Dolly Tag for Ali-Craft, whose DT I joined earlier in the year. The tag and paper are from Prima also.  My dolly featured in Creative Stamping (November) issue.

September 2013

I have paper pieced the image using these lovely papers and those wellie's are so cute!

November 2013

I have used lots of girly papers, baker's twine and a Little Claire - 'Tea Party' stamp set, which I helped design with Gill and ex-teamie Georgina.  I especially love the little cup with the bird on.

Last but not least, December 2013

A bright and colourful card using Hobby Art's - Sharon's Vases' stamp set. Love those little butterflies and the image are just gorgeous!

Winter Robin

Happy Friday to you!

I have been a bit of a quiet blogger this week, I have been up to my eyes in DT samples so haven't had much time to get on here, let alone load anything lol.

Anyhow, here is a little card I made, using the gorgeous new Hobby Art - 'Winter Robin' stamp.  The 'Happy Christmas' sentiment is from a great set called 'Winter Wishes'.  Both sets can be purchased from the Hobby Art website HERE.

Am so chuffed, as I have nearly got all of my Christmas presents sorted yesterday.  I had a day out of the house and spent it shopping and am so relieved to have nearly completed the task. The shops are getting quite busy already.  I even got the Turkey Crown and most of the food which is now filling the freezer, so had a large Costa with one of those gorgeous new 'Brie & Bacon' Panini's, well sometimes you just have to treat yourself lol!

Have a great weekend and keep warm and thanks for stopping by!

The stamps I have used on my card are :

Bertie the Snowman, Robin & Friends, Christmas Robins & Winter Wishes

I have also used some of the glorious 'Wink of Stella' glitter, you can buy any of the products listed HERE.  Or if you are visiting the NEC, do pop by the stand and say Hi to Jenny and the gang!

Am off out for lunch with my eldest daughter, she lives nearby and I don't get to see her very often due to busy her work schedule, so am really looking forward to catching up.

New Swirlball Flowers Stamp set

Good evening,
am sharing a couple of DT cards that I have made for Little Claire using the gorgeous new November Club Stamp - 'Swirlball Flowers'.

I have made two very different cards using the set, the first above has been made by stamping one of the little flowers all around the kraft card.  I have them decoupaged the larger image added smaller ones to the centre and sentiment on the card.

The card above has been left quite plain. I have just stamped up the central image, coloured in and decoupaged a couple of the flowers and added tiny pearls to their centres.

The sentiment on this set are so lovely, just right for friend cards.  If you want to purchase the set/join the club etc., you can see the set via HERE

Will be back tomorrow with my Ali Craft DT card for the new Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by,

A Purple Partridge in a Pear Tree

Good morning,

The sun is shining which always puts me in a lovely mood!

Am sharing another Hobby Art DT card today.  This gorgeous set is called 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree' and is just wonderful!

I have made an acetate tunnel card in pinks & purples, instead of the usual Christmas colours. I think these colours really suit the set.

The paper I have used is from Craft Creations, and I made the card stand by cutting up another card blank and covering the front with a single piece to hide the acetate.  I love the little pear that I have stamped on the top of the card, it is such a lovely shape and the partridge is glorious to colour in, but very intricate to cut out though lol!

You can buy the set and many more gorgeous ones HERE.

Girls and I have a packed week ahead, lots going on and several taxi duties for me lol.

Keep Crafting!
